Meaning to roughly occur at the same time, nearly simultaneously.

For example, Ben Bernanke running out of a Federal Open Markets Committee meeting screaming "Oh my God - we're doomed! Dooomed I tells you!! ...What was I THINKING taking this job??!!" would cause world markets to crash through the floor and grown men on trading floors across the globe to rip their own heads off to allow their hearts to explode more freely through their necks.

These events would occur almost at the same instant only not quite. There would be the most fractional difference in time between them. They would therefore be plesiosynchronous.
